What is Hive up?
It's a customized urban beekeeping experience built so you can start beekeeping as a hobby and benefit from everything the hive has to offer. In your back yard or ours we have a package for everyone. Bees are essential to our environment. One hive at a time, we hope to benefit the environment and its humans. Our season starts when bees arrive in May with a sweet finale in September. Our service runs the full 365 days.
We are taking bookings now for our 2024 season, spots are limited as we are very one on one in our approach.

Hive Up (and Vanessa) have been excellent in helping our school set up a hive in it's backyard. Always accessible for help and advice and visits. Under her experienced guidance we are seeing our bees thrive. It is an incredible adventure, caring for these special animals. Regular Zoom meetings with Vanessa and other fledgling beekeepers keep us abreast of the seasonal changes, trends in Quebec beekeeping experiences, problematic issues to keep an eye out for, and so on. Hoping to keep this partnership going and expand in the future to a few more hives! :)
